At the heart of VD Global supply chain ethics is to diligently source ethical, sustainable and traceable diamonds. We have been working endlessly to adhere to the best standards in our industry to ensure we are able to manufacture and supply the finest conflict-free with provenance.
Since the inception of the Kimberly Process in 2003 – an agreement and system to eliminate the trade of conflict diamonds across international borders – we have diligently followed the system to source and trade diamonds that have complete chain-of-custody.
As a De Beers Sightholder, we also adhere to one of the industries strictest set of standards since 2005 – the De Beers Best Practice Principles (BPP) and Pipeline Integrity (PI). BPPs ensure that all De Beers Group diamonds can be trusted to be conflict-free, abide by international human rights frameworks and labour regulations, alongside further rigorous ethical, social and environmental requirements. Each year our factory and office are rigorously audited by an independent third-party auditor to ensure every diamond manufactured by VDG is ethical, sustainable and traceable.
